Automated Human Resource Solutions (AutoHR) was developed by Intechrum specifically for the State of California.  Our aim was simple: develop an HR system that was both cost effective AND met the unique and complex HR requirements found in California.

 

As far as Information Technology (IT) is concerned, HR has historically been an underserved division within most departments. It is not uncommon for a department to still be using a “card catalogue” system to manage position control. A large part of that is because, generally speaking, HR really only had two choices when it came to acquiring an IT solution.  They could either buy a “solution for the masses” or they could custom develop a solution. Solutions for the masses, while well priced, fell far short of meeting the specific needs for California, often requiring them to have a laborious hybrid process that was part manual, part automated, and completely inefficient.  Custom solutions generally came with cost prohibitive price tags causing departments to automate only one or two parts of HR which had much the same inefficient result as the solution for the masses.  Add to that the reality that HR is not the primary mission of most departments, and you have a division that is desperate for a technology shot in the arm to bring the efficiency and standards that today’s employee’s have come to expect from their place of business. After all, HR isn’t just about your HR division, it’s ultimately about your employees, your Human Resources.  So what are the key ingredients to a successful HR system for the State of California?

Intechrum’s AutoHR is comprised of multiple integrated modules that work together to help collect all the necessary information about and employee to effectively have and maintain a single electronic employee personnel file, all while also being able to produce signed and completed versions of the Standard State Forms.  It is designed around a simple interview format which helps guide users through the process quickly and easily with no need for in-depth training.
